Unlike many other courses, you can start your bar prep at the time of enrollment. You receive online access no more than 24 hours after enrollment. Books will be shipped based on the student’s shipping preference; however, you have access to lectures and multiple choice and essay questions online almost immediately.[/toggle]

We have samples online if you would like to preview the materials prior to purchase. Unfortunately, you may not preview the books without enrolling. You have four days after the receipt of your books to review them. If you want to return the books for any reason, you may mail them back to us. You are responsible for return shipping fees and a 12.5% restocking fee. Materials must be returned in new condition. No materials with marks or signs of use will be accepted. [/toggle]

Pricing
Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items on our website catalog may be mispriced. If an item’s correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.

Disputes

Bar Review Courses

AMERIBAR’S NATIONWIDE PASS RATE – 93%
AmeriBar’s overall pass rate for all jurisdictions was 93% for the July 2013 bar examination. The pass rate is based on all AmeriBar first time bar examinees who graduated in 2013 from an ABA approved law school (regardless of whether the students completed any percentage of assignments).
According to the National Conference of Bar Examiners, the pass rate for all students who took any bar exam in 2012 is 67% overall and 77% for first time takers.
The pass rate for examinees who did not graduate from an ABA law school is lower. Your chances of passing the bar exam depend on many factors including the amount of time you study and the nature of your legal education (and/or practice experience).

In a recent survey sent to our students enrolled in our tutoring program for the most recent exam administration, 100% of respondents indicated that they would recommend the tutoring program to a friend.

GENERAL INFORMATION REGARDING PASS RATES
Each jurisdiction provides different information regarding who passed and failed the bar exam. We determine pass rates based on all available information obtained from the examiners and our students.

[toggle title=”What if I don’t pass the bar? Can I still use your materials?” open=”false” icon=”question-sign”]The books are yours to keep once you have a paid enrollment. If you would like to keep online access to the course, you will receive one free retake of the online course. You must send us the notification letter from the Board of Bar Examiners within 10 days of being notified of the results. We will extend your bar study period through the next exam. All documentation must be sent to support@barexam.co.uk.[/toggle]

Review Courses: We know how important it is to be comfortable with your bar review materials. Therefore, we provide students with a no-questions-asked inspection period for our hard-copy publications only. You may inspect our hard-copy publication for 4 days from the date you receive them. If you do not wish to keep our hard-copy publications for any reason, you may return them for a full refund, less shipping costs and a 12.5% restocking fee. You are responsible for return shipping fees. Any returned materials must be in unused and unmarked condition only. You may also inspect our on-line materials for four days from the date you are granted access. However, we reserve the right to deny any refund request based upon evidence that our material was copied. iPods acquired through the iPod rental program cannot be returned for a refund under this return policy. iPods may only be returned for a deposit refund.
Tutoring Program: We are so confident that you will value our tutoring program that we offer a guaranteed pro-rated refund. If you do not appreciate the tutoring program for any reason after completing the first three consecutive tutoring sessions, then at any time within 24 hours of completing your third tutoring session, notify AmeriBar and you may cancel your remaining sessions and receive a pro-rated refund for your unused sessions less shipping fees and handling (12.5%) fees. We know of no other program that offers this type of guarantee.[/toggle]

For UK educated law graduates and legal professionals, we offer a pass-update guarantee.
Pass-Update Guarantee
AmeriBar’s courses come with a pass-update guarantee policy. All students are eligible. If you sit for the bar exam, and do not pass the exam, you will receive one free retake of the online course. You must inform AmeriBar that you did not pass the exam within 10 days of being notified of the results. Within the same time limit, you must also provide AmeriBar with a copy or fax of the notification letter from the Board of Law Examiners.

Can I postpone my enrollment?” open=”false” icon=”question-sign”]We allow a one-time extension of enrollment, including access to our online material, to the next scheduled bar exam. We require a copy of your notice of deferment or subsequent enrollment from the Board of Bar Examiners prior to extending your enrollment. Email support@ameribar.com to request a postponement. [toggle title=”What if I enrolled for the Bar Review + Essay Critiques, but decide that I want the Bar Exam + Tutoring once I begin studying?” open=”false” icon=”question-sign”]You can do that after enrollment. Be mindful that tutoring fills up closer to the exam dates. Tutoring is often at full capacity during the months of January, February, June, and July, so please inform us of your interest to change your program as soon as possible.
