Georgia Bar Exam Information

[two_third]The Georgia Exam is a two-day exam that is administered on the last Tuesday and Wednesday of February and July. You will need to know Georgia-specific law for this exam.

The first day of the exam, Tuesday, is the essay portion of the exam. Georgia administers the its own essay questions. The essay portion of the exam consists of four 45-minute essays, and the Multistate Performance Test (MPT) consists of two 90-minute “closed universe” scenarios that come with their own rules, facts, and case information.

The second day of the exam, Wednesday, is the Multistate Bar Exam (MBE). The MBE consists of 200-multiple choice questions that are tested in two 3-hour blocks. [/two_third]

Foreign law school graduates may also apply for a waiver of requirement of graduation from an ABA-approved law school. Published waiver policy lists criteria considered by Board in determining whether waiver standard has been met.
